Amy L. Sergent Graduated from the University of South Florida in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in Social Science Interdisciplinary Studies. She then attended Stetson University College of Law where she graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1991. Ms. Sergent joined the firm of Lancaster & Eure, P.A., in August of 1994. She practices in the area of employment discrimination, focusing on cases of sexual harassment, race and age discrimination, and violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Ms.Sergent also has extensive experience in personal injury cases. Ms. Sergent handles auto accidents, slip 'n' fall cases, trip and fall cases, dog bites and nursing home negligence actions. Ms. Sergent is a member of The Florida Bar. She is also admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida. Ms. Sergent is a member of National Employment Lawyers Association, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, Sarasota Chapter. Ms. Sergent is dedicated to finding justice for people who have been hurt because of someone else's negligence. She takes on the insurance industry with a fury in order to secure the best possible result for her personal injury clients. Moreover, Ms. Sergent is committed to the elimination of discrimination against workers based upon their race, age, sex, national origin or disability. She is a zealous advocate for those who have suffered a loss of employment or job benefits in violation of their civil rights. |
