Beth A. Levine

Beth A. Levine is a graduate of Tulane University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Art History.  Ms. Levine continued her education at the University of Mississippi, where she became a member of the Law Review, obtaining her law degree in 1986. During that time, she gained valuable experience, working as a law clerk for a civil rights firm in Miami, Florida.

Upon graduating law school, Ms. Levine was admitted to the Mississippi Bar and took a position at a law firm in Hattiesburg, Mississippi where she specialized in civil rights cases and social security claims. At this firm, she developed a passion for protecting the rights of the most vulnerable, while assisting clients with their social security claims.

After becoming a member of the Florida Bar, she was offered a position as an Assistant County Attorney for the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners. At the County Attorney’s Office, she had the opportunity to assist in streamlining county regulations and to serve as counsel for various county committees and boards.

In 1995, Ms. Levine became partner at Sullivan and Sullivan, a law firm in Punta Gorda, that specialized in criminal, family, and dependency law. Here, she also began an immigration law practice to meet the expanding needs of the local immigrant community. In 2006, she moved to Sarasota where she continued to expand her practice, both as a solo practitioner and as partner in the law firm of Levine and Sullivan.

The broad experience Ms. Levine has gained, through 30 plus years as an advocate, has strengthened her resolve to work diligently on behalf of her clients’ best interests. As a recent addition to the Lancaster & Eure team, Ms. Levine will be assisting clients with social security disability benefits, workers’ compensation claims and other civil matters.

In the community, Ms. Levine is a Master Swimmer with the Sarasota Sharks and the past president of Miracle Swimming for Adults.  She is also a supporter of numerous non-profit organizations including Sarasota Crew, Pine View School and WSLR 95.6, Sarasota’s community radio station.
