We are pleased to extend congratulations to Attorney Eric M. Christiansen for achieving board certification in Workers’ Compensation effective August 1, 2019.

Board certification in Workers’ Compensation identifies Attorney Christiansen as a lawyer with special knowledge and skills in his practice area of Workers’ Compensation, as well as a lawyer with a reputation for professionalism and ethics.

Certification is a voluntary program for lawyers, approved by The Florida Supreme Court and administered by The Florida Bar. The program began in 1982 to help the public choose lawyers.  Certified attorneys are the only lawyers allowed to use the terms specialist, or Board Certified Specialist, when referring to their legal credentials.

Board certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in the areas of law approved for certification.  Approximately seven percent of eligible Florida Bar members have earned board certification in one or more of the specialty areas of law for which board certification is available.

In light of Attorney Christiansen’s achievement, he now joins Attorney Rosemary B. Eure, who in 1999 became board certified in Workers’ Compensation law.
