Can I pay for my medical appointments using my private health insurance or health insurance provided by the Employer?

No. Never use your private health insurance or health insurance provided by your Employer when treating with your Workers’ Compensation physician.  If you go to the hospital or the emergency room, make sure to provide your Workers’ Compensation Carrier information and not your personal health insurance.  You should also not use your personal health insurance to pay for prescriptions.  Always provide your Workers’ Compensation information to any provider.
