Kathleen Dann
Kathleen relocated from the Boston, MA area to Manatee County with her husband in 2016. She is a graduate of University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, completing an M.B.A. program through the prestigious Charlton School of Business. Kathleen previously held a longstanding position as Law Firm Administrator with a prominent Massachusetts law firm before moving to Clearwater and continuing her career as Business Manager for a large accounting firm eventually moving to “paradise” on Perico Island. Kathleen has enjoyed involvement in many community service organizations including serving as a Girl Scout Leader, as a volunteer for YMCA Committees & Fundraising, as a Recording Clerk for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), to her most fulfilling role as Foster Care Parent. Previously an avid snow skier and runner, the love of the outdoors now takes Kathleen and her husband on adventurous bicycle treks, long walks on our gorgeous Gulf beaches and hikes through the many breathtaking land preservation areas found in Manatee and Sarasota counties.
Legal Assistants
Dina M. De Lorenzo
Dina comes to Lancaster & Eure from Cincinnati, Ohio. She brings over ten years of experience with Ohio workers’ compensation law. She attended the University of Cincinnati and is currently a resident of Manatee County. Dina has been with Lancaster & Eure since September, 2006 and serves as the firm’s intake specialist for new client cases.
Dina enjoys spending free time with family, reading and traveling. Dina has been an active member of Women of the Moose since 2007.
Antonia “Tonie” Vazquez
Born and raised in New York City, in the area known as “the Bronx”, Tonie relocated to Bradenton, FL in 2017. She previously worked for a nation-wide defense firm for 14 years in their New York City office located on Wall Street before joining Lancaster & Eure. Tonie’s education included LaGuardia Community College. She has accumulated over 30 years of experience as a Legal Assistant. Tonie works in our Social Security Disability practice and assists our clients in their appeals of wrongfully denied disability benefits. During her spare time, Tonie enjoys shopping, going to movies, and spending time with family and friends.
Tamara “Tammy” Mayer
Having worked in the Risk Management profession for over 30 years, Tammy comes to L&E as a paralegal working in our Workers’ Compensation practice. She is a licensed Workers’ Compensation adjuster having worked with TPA, PEOs and MSA companies. Tammy served as past president of the Sarasota-Bradenton Claims Association, an organization comprised of insurance professionals and attorneys who specialize in insurance claims and litigation. Tammy enjoys the opportunity to help others and finds satisfaction in aiding members of our community when they need it most.
Her outside work interests include cooking, outdoor photography, thrift shopping with her daughter, reading nonfiction books and watching movies. She moved to Florida 38 years ago, previously living in Pennsylvania. She lives in Parrish with her son, daughter and 2 dogs, Bandito and Romeo.
Rosa Lavy
Rosa is originally from Lima, Peru. In 1997 she moved to Miami, FL and lived there until relocating to Sarasota in 2017. Rosa completed the Paralegal Studies program earning an associate degree from Keiser University and later returned to Nova Southeastern University to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Rosa has since attained the status of Florida Registered Paralegal.
Prior to joining Lancaster & Eure, Rosa built a solid foundation as a paralegal working 12 years with an immigration law firm in Miami. Rosa continues her legal career as a Case Manager/Paralegal in our Workers’ Compensation department where she continues to provide a high level of support and assistance to clients.
Outside of work, Rosa enjoys trips to the beach, spending time with family and friends and her fur-babies.
Jesse Steeves
Jesse grew up in Massachusetts deciding to make Florida his new home in 2002. He previously worked as an immigration paralegal before joining L&E to continue his career as a Workers’ Compensation paralegal. Jesse continued his education at Everglades University, earning a master’s degree in Business Administration. Jesse most appreciates the personal connection he feels when assisting those who need help, and in being a reliable connection to assist clients in their journey through the workers’ compensation system.
Interests outside of work include being a father, a “gamer” , as well as a science fan with preference to reading publications concerning physics and chemistry.
Jennifer Davis
Jennifer, originally from New Jersey, recently relocated back to Sarasota from the Gainesville area, where she worked in criminal, personal injury and family law for several years. Prior to starting her career in the legal field, she worked in many areas of real estate, from loan processing and underwriting to sales and foreclosure management. She earned her Associates degree in Paralegal Studies from St. Petersburg College and has received certification in legal technology from the National Society for Legal Technology. Jennifer’s number one goal in life is simple – to help people.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys gardening, writing, listening to music and spending time in nature. She has had the privilege to contribute her experience and hard work ethic volunteering with The Great American Teach In, Pinellas County Homeless Court, W.O. Beauchamp Jr. Law Day and Keller Williams Red Day, among many others, and looks forward to lending her support to charitable efforts as she settles back into our beautiful community.
Spanish Translators
Diana Rico
Diana Rico is a legal assistant/Spanish translator at Lancaster & Eure and serves as a liaison between the attorneys and paralegals and our Spanish speaking clients. Prior to joining Lancaster & Eure, Diana worked 8 years for Goldman Sachs on Wall Street in client services. In 1991, Diana relocated to Sarasota with her husband to raise her daughters and focus on her family. Diana works closely with the Spanish speaking injured workers and assists in all aspects of their workers’ compensation and personal injury claims.
Aura Almonte
Originally from Colombia, Aura joins Lancaster & Eure as legal assistant /Spanish translator. Previously working in the Banking industry in customer service, she enjoys helping people by providing them services they need and deserve.
Aura earned certification as a bi-lingual secretary in Columbia and attended law school for one year while in Columbia.
When not at work, Aura enjoys nature, walking outdoors at our local beaches and parks. Her future plans involve volunteering with organizations to help children or assist in animal care.
