Dina M. De Lorenzo
Dina comes to the office of Lancaster & Eure from Cincinnati, Ohio. She has ten years of experience with Ohio workers’ compensation. She attended the University of Cincinnati and is currently a resident of Manatee County. Dina has been with Lancaster & Eure since September of 2006.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading and traveling. Dina has been an active member of Women of the Moose since 2007.
Originally from Sacramento, CA, Leah recently relocated to Bradenton, FL. Prior to moving to the Sunshine State, Leah also resided in Nashville, TN for thirteen years. In 1983, she graduated from The Sawyer School with a legal secretary certificate. Since that time she has gained over thirty years of legal experience, including ten years with Tennessee Workers’ Compensation.
Leah is happily married to her husband of over twenty years. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, trips to the beach, baking cakes, and spending time with her family.
Deborah R. Higel
Deborah is a Certified Legal Assistant/Paralegal and has lived in the Venice, Florida, area since 1975. She graduated from Manatee Junior College in December 1990, with an Associate of Science degree in Legal Assisting. Deborah joined Lancaster & Eure in May 1991. In December 1991, she successfully completed the Certified Legal Assistant’s examination through the National Association of Legal Assistants.
In addition, she regularly attends legal seminars and seminars specializing in workers’ compensation to maintain her knowledge of the law.
Rosa is originally from Lima, Peru. However, as a teenager in 1997, she moved to Miami, FL and lived there until 2017 when she relocated and began calling Sarasota home. In 2005 Rosa completed the Associates program at Keiser University in Paralegal Studies and in 2010 she went back to school to earn a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to joining the Lancaster and Eure team, Rosa built a solid foundation as a paralegal at an immigration firm in Miami, where she worked closely with one attorney for 12 years. By continuing her career as a paralegal at L&E, Rosa has the opportunity to continue to provide a high level of support and assistance to our clients, bringing her the most fulfillment on a daily basis. Recently, Rosa became a Florida Registered Paralegal.
Outside of work, Rosa enjoys trips to the beach, spending time with her family, walking her dogs, watching soccer games with her husband, and karaoke with friends.
Antonia “Toni” Vazquez
Tonie was born and raised in New York City, living in area known as “the Bronx”, before relocating to Bradenton, FL. She previously worked for a nation-wide defense firm for 14 years in their New York City office located on Wall Street before joining Lancaster & Eure. Tonie’s education included the LaGuardia Community College and she has accumulated over 30 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant. Tonie works in our Social Security Disability division and assists our clients in their appeals of wrongfully denied disability benefits.
During her spare time, Tonie enjoys shopping, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends, but as all mother’s do, she also enjoys her alone time even more so now that she is located in the beautiful Sarasota area.
A long-time Dallas Cowboys fan, Yolanda hails from Flower Mound, Texas, relocating to Florida in 2017. She attained an A.A.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Schenectady County Community College in New York, graduating with honors.
Yolanda began her legal career in 1999, most recently working as a self-employed family law paralegal. She continues her career in Sarasota working with Lancaster & Eure as a Workers Compensation paralegal, assisting clients and helping them navigate through difficult periods in their lives.
In her spare time, Yolanda enjoys going to the beach, salsa dancing, attending farmers markets and riding her bike, as well as visits with her adult children.
Lynne comes to Lancaster & Eure with over 30 years experience working in the practice area of personal injury. This experience allows Lynne to serve clients with a higher level of skill and knowledge, demonstrating she truly cares about clients, their lives and of course, their legal cases. As a litigation paralegal, Lynne works to ensure clients’ cases achieve the most successful resolution possible after their life-altering event. To demonstrate Lynne’s commitment to the area of personal injury law, she is a long-standing paralegal member of the Florida Justice Association and a certified Accredited Multi-Line Claims Adjuster.
Personally, Lynne enjoys spending free time with friends and family, cooking, watching the Tampa Bay Rays baseball, Tampa Bay Buccaneers football and NASCAR racing. A longtime resident of Manatee County, Lynne is married and the proud mother of two sons and the very proud grandmother of two fabulous granddaughters.
Colleen relocated to Sarasota, FL in February 2013 from Philadelphia, PA.
She attended a Home Health Aide workshop and then Suncoast Technical College attaining a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation to assist an ill family member. Prior to becoming a CNA, Colleen gained over 25 years of legal experience working in law firms in Philadelphia, PA. She has extensive experience in the areas of Personal Injury and Catastrophic Medical Malpractice. Colleen’s experience working with patients both in the hospital as well as in their homes influenced her to return to her background, helping injured clients in L&E’s Workers’ Compensation practice.
In her spare time, Colleen enjoys spending time with her three sons and their families, who also live in Sarasota, doing various activities with family and friends, as well as relaxing at home.
