Dina M. De Lorenzo
Dina comes to the office of Lancaster & Eure from Cincinnati, Ohio. She has ten years of experience with Ohio workers’ compensation. She attended the University of Cincinnati and is currently a resident of Manatee County. Dina has been working for Lancaster & Eure since September of 2006.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling. Dina has been an active member of Women of the Moose since 2007.
Originally from Sacramento, CA, Leah recently relocated to Bradenton, FL. Prior to moving to the Sunshine State, Leah resided in Nashville, TN for thirteen years. In 1983, she graduated from The Sawyer School with a legal secretary certificate. Since that time she has gained over thirty years of legal experience, including ten years with Tennessee Workers’ Compensation.
Leah is happily married to her husband of twenty years, and, in her spare time, she enjoys boating, trips to the beach, baking cakes, and spending time with her family.
Debbie Englund moved from Massachusetts to the Sunshine state in 1992. Declaring herself to be a “die-hard” Boston Red Sox fan, Debbie also has diverse interests in dog sporting events, particularly agility, participating with her Shetland Sheepdogs – a/k/a Shelties, in American Kennel Club events. She is a member of the Greater Venice Dog Club.
Debbie began her professional career as an analytical/environmental chemist having studied at Salem State College in Salem, MA. Debbie now works in the firm’s Personal Injury practice area. A registered Florida Paralegal, Debbie takes great pride in helping people navigate the legal system when they have been injured and do not understand the process.
Deborah R. Higel
Deborah is a certified legal assistant/paralegal and has lived in the Venice, Florida, area since 1975. She graduated from Manatee Junior College in December 1990, with an Associate of Science degree in Legal Assisting. Deborah joined Lancaster & Eure in May 1991. In December 1991, she successfully completed the Certified Legal Assistant’s examination through the National Association of Legal Assistants.
In addition, she regularly attends legal seminars and seminars specializing in workers’ compensation to maintain her CLA status.
Rosa is originally from Lima, Peru. However, as a teenager in 1997, she moved to Miami, FL and lived there until 2017 when she relocated and began calling Sarasota home. In 2005 Rosa completed the Associates program at Keiser University in Paralegal Studies and in 2010 she went back to school to earn a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to joining the Lancaster and Eure team, Rosa built a solid foundation as a paralegal at an immigration firm in Miami, where she worked closely with one attorney for 12 years. By continuing her career as a paralegal at L&E, Rosa has the opportunity to continue to provide a high level of support and assistance to our clients, bringing her the most fulfillment on a daily basis.
Outside of work, Rosa enjoys trips to the beach, spending time with her family, walking her dogs, watching soccer games with her husband, and karaoke with friends.
Naedinne was born and raised in Puerto Rico and in 2001 she moved to our lovely city of Sarasota, where she has lived ever since. After graduating from Sarasota High School, Naedinne began working as a Customer Service Representative where she dedicated herself to providing excellent professional client service. In 2005 she shifted her focus and started working closely with several attorneys at a law firm in Sarasota, assisting them with their Personal Injury cases. In 2016, Naedinne joined the L&E team to continue her career as a Legal Assistant, specializing in Personal Injury.
In her spare time Naedinne enjoys outdoor activities with her two daughters.
Antonia “Tonie” Vazquez
Tonie was born and raised in New York City, living in area known as “the Bronx”, before relocating to Bradenton, FL. She previously worked for a nation-wide defense firm for 14 years in their New York City office located on Wall Street before joining Lancaster & Eure. Tonie’s education included the LaGuardia Community College and she has accumulated over 30 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant. Tonie works in our Social Security Disability division and assists our clients in their appeals of wrongfully denied disability benefits.
During her spare time, Tonie enjoys shopping, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends, but as all mother’s do, she also enjoys her alone time even more so now that she is located in the beautiful Sarasota area.
A long-time Dallas Cowboys fan, Yolanda hails from Flower Mound, Texas, relocating to Florida in 2017. She attained an A.A.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Schenectady County Community College in New York, graduating with honors.
Yolanda began her legal career in 1999, most recently working as a self-employed family law paralegal. She continues her career in Sarasota working with Lancaster & Eure as a Workers Compensation paralegal, assisting clients and helping them navigate through difficult periods in their lives.
In her spare time, Yolanda enjoys going to the beach, salsa dancing, attending farmers markets and riding her bike, as well as visits with her adult children.
Born and raised in Western New York, Kim has called Florida home since 1982. Her studies include both medical and business administration, having been certified in medical records. Kim previously worked in medical offices and hospitals for over 20 years, transitioning to assisted living facilities during which time she developed an expertise in medical records and risk management. Kim’s passion for working has brought her to Lancaster & Eure as Project Paralegal.
Kim is also passionate about cooking and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, Animal Adoptions and is a Disaster Relief Cook.
Originally from Staten Island, NY, Jalissa now makes North Port, FL home. She works with our Workers’ Compensation practice group after previously working as a personal injury paralegal. She is currently working toward her Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) certification while attending State College of Florida.
In her free time, Jalissa’s love of music has allowed her to perform locally as singer in an eight piece Motown band. Jalissa’s future plans include volunteer work with Florida animals and wildlife.
