Travis Kemp

Before representing injured clients, Travis spent 13 years as in-house defense counsel for Progressive Insurance, where he represented insured drivers in motor vehicle negligence claims throughout Florida. As an employee of a major insurance company, Travis gained firsthand experience evaluating liability, damages, litigation strategy, and settlement positions from the defense perspective. He worked closely with claims professionals, defense teams, and insurance decision-makers, developing an understanding of how insurers evaluate claims and what it takes to build a case that receives serious consideration. 

Travis began his legal career in 2005 as an Assistant State Attorney with Florida’s 18th Judicial Circuit, where he tried numerous jury cases to verdict and developed the courtroom skills that remain central to his practice today.

In 2023, Travis transitioned to representing injured individuals and quickly achieved significant results for his clients, including multi-million-dollar settlements. He is a Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a distinction earned by fewer than one percent of attorneys nationwide.

Travis approaches each case with the same preparation and determination that defined his years as a collegiate baseball pitcher. As a left-handed pitcher, he earned All-State and All-Region honors, posted an ERA under 1.00, and threw a no-hitter. The discipline, focus, and ability to perform under pressure developed through competitive athletics continue to shape his approach to advocacy.
